RUBEN OLMO born in Seville in 1980, he received the Spanish Dance title and completed his training under Manolo Marín, José Galván, Manolete, Mario Maya, and El Güito. At 16 years old, he became a part of the Javier Barón Company and the same year travelled to Madrid to continue his training. He stands out as a soloist in the Company of Aída Gómez en “We are Alone”. In 1998, he danced with the Spain National Ballet.

ROSANA ROMERO born in L´Hospitalet, she studied flamenco, Spanish dance and Classical Dance with very important flamenco stars.
She´s worked with Antonio Canales (new Spanish ballet). In 1999 she created her own ballet company with two other flamenco dancers (Suroma). She´s won a large number of important flamenco awards.

DOMINGO ORTEGA born in Jerez de la Frontera, he began his studies at the age of 8 and, there, also began his professional career. He has danced with a number of companies including those of Carmen Cortés, and Manuel Soler, and as a soloist for the companies of Antonio Vargas, el Güito, and Luisillo. In 1995, he formed his own company which toured all over spain and afterward, the rest of the world. He has combined his work on the stage with that of teaching.

MARIA JUNCAL is from a family where Flamenco is in the blood, The Borrulls. She studied dance with great flamencan figures such as La Tati, el Guito, Merche Esmeralda, Circo, and others. Juncal has worked in various companies, and with them she has been able to tour all over the world. She has received several awards including The Antonio Gades National Flamenco Dance Award (2004), Best Solo Choreography in the 15th Annual Spanish and Flamenco Dance Choreography Contest at Madrid’s Albeniz Theater (2006), and the Desplante Trophy at the International Festival of the Mines.

MIGUEL TÉLLEZ began his training at 10 years old and was quickly integrated into the Albarizuela Youth Ballet. In 1995, he moved to Madrid to be a part of the José Tamayo Company, to be followed by Clara Ramona, Joaquín Grilo, “El Güito”, Carmen Cortés among others. He has performed in numerous Festivals and in the best theatres in Spain and internationally.

VICTORIA DUENDE was born in Seville where she began studying with Matilde Coral, “El Mimbre”. She has danced with numerous companies including those of Mario Maya, Carmen Cortés, El Güito, and Blanca del Rey. She is the principal dancer in “We Flamencos are like this” which is touring worldwide. She has participated in numerous television programs and some movies. She currently has her own company.

MIGUEL CAÑAS in addition to being a dancer, Cañas is a choreographer for various companies. He has been a part of the companies of Paco Romero, Luisillo, Rafael Aguilar, Antonio Canales, Sara Baras and others. As a choreographer, he co-founded Danzahart and Arrieritos. He has taught classes in Spain, New York, Buenos Aires, Rome and is currently a teacher at the Love of God school. He has been selected on various occasions for the Max Awards for Scene Art.

RAQUELA ORTEGA was born in Madrid where she began her dance studies at 7 years old in the school Love of God with professors including Ciro, Cristóbal Reyes, Joaquín Ruiz and others. She began her professional career in the Zambra tablao with Cristóbal Reyes, after which she began a world tour. She has worked in various companies like those of Joaquín Cortés, and Sara Baras. In addition to her performances, she has appeared on television and in movies on various occasions.

MANUEL LIÑÁN born in Granada, he began studying with Manolete and Mario Maya and completed his training moving to Madrid. He dances as a part of the companies of Carmen Cortés, Adrián Galiá, Merche Esmeralda, and Manolete. He created the Company ESS3 Movement with Marco Flores, Olga Pericet, and Daniel Doña. Recently, he participated in the London Festival and Jerez Festival of Flamenco.

SORAYA PERICET was born in Córdoba, where she received her degree, then she moved to Seville to study with Matilde Coral, and Manolo Marín, and then to Madrid with Cristóbal Reyes and Milagros Mengíbar. She has worked in several tablaos and later formed part of the Company of Rafael Amargo. In 2003, she created the Company ESS3 with which she has put on several shows. Her most recent participation was in 2006 with the show “Chanta la Mui” in the London Flamenco Festival.

SORAYA CLAVIJO was born in Jerez de la Frontera and at 19 she moved to Seville where she started her career in various tablaos while continuing her training with Eva la Yerbabuena, Javier Latorre, and Joaquín Grilo. In 2001, she had great success in the Mont de Marsan Festival and was a finalist in the Córdoba National Competition. She has toured several times with different shows, splitting her time between that and teaching.

She has toured all over Spain, Europe and America as a part of the Companies of Rafael de Córdoba, and Rafael Amargo.

 

David Romero

DAVID ROMERO began to perform at 14 years of age in the Carmen Amaya Tablao and since then has danced on some of the most mythical stages nationally and internationally. In 2000, he became the only dancer to earn the 6 prizes of the Barcelona Youth Competition. He has danced with Joaquín Cortés, Rafael Amargo, Antonio Canales, Juan Andrés Maya, and Lola Greco among others.

BELÉN LÓPEZ made her first appearance dancing at the age of 5, and since then has not failed to be successful wherever she goes. She received her training from Javier La Torre, Cristóbal Reyes, Lucía Real, and others. In May 2004, López received the National Flamenco Award “Mario Maya.” In 2006, among many other appearances, she performed at the Festival de Jerez in the show “Los Novísimos” and also in the series “Jóvenes Flamencos”at the Spanish Theater.

RAFAEL PERAL was born in Barcelona where he completed his studies in Spanish Dance. At a very young age, he entered the Company of Antonio Canales as the number one dancer. Since his work with Antonio Canales, Peral has danced with Eva Yerbabuena, Sara Baras, “The Guito” or “Manolete,” and others. Peral’s skill has earned him invitations to participate in numerous Flamenco festivals.

PABLO CERVANTES was born in Mexico City, where he began his dance training. In 1999 he moved to Spain, where he continued his training with Antonio Reyes, Paco Romero, María Magdalena, Domingo Ortega, and others. Cervantes has toured Europe, Asia, and Mexico, as a part of several companies including The Truco, Luisillo, José Triguero, and others. In addition to his career as a dancer, Cervantes is also a professor and a choreographer.

MARIA JOSÉ FRANCO began her training at the age of 5 with Angelita Gómez, Manolo Marín, Carmen Cortés, Matilde Coral, Manolete, Antonio Canales, and Mario Maya, whose company she eventually joined. She has received many awards and begun her own company. Franco´s company premiered with “Cabales,” which was succeeded by “A Contracorriente” in 2006 at the Jerez Festival of the Border. In addition to her career as a solo dancer, Franco also performs as a guest dancer with her partner Antonio el Pipa.

 

José Barrios

JOSÉ BARRIOS was born in Córdoba, where he first began to dance and participated in numerous festivals throughout Andalusia. He later moved to Sevilla and then to Madrid in order to continue his training. In addition to his career as a dancer, Barrios is a professor and teaches classes internationally. He has danced as a part of the several companies including those of “Blanca del Rey,” Rafael Amargo, Domingo Ortega, José Porcel, and more. Currently, Barrios is dancing and choreographing for the Company of María Pagés.

MARCO FLORES was born in Cadiz, where he taught himself to dance. He then moved to Seville in order to train with Javier Latorre, Antonio Canales, and Javier Barón. Marco danced in several shows and festivals. In 2001, he came to Madrid to dance with the Companies of Sara Baras and Rafael Amargo. In 2003, Flores created the Company ESS3 along with Olga Pericet, Manuel Linan, and Daniel Doña, with whom he traveled throughout Spain, the United States, Europe, and more.

OLGA PERICET, was born in Córdoba, where she obtained her degree before moving to Seville to study with Matilde Coral and Manolo Marín, and later to Madrid to study with Cristóbal Reyes, Milagros Mengíbar, and others. She worked in various tablaos and later became part of the Company of Rafael Amargo. In 2003, Pericet created the Company ESS3 along with Marco Flores, and has put on various shows. Born in Jerez de la Frontera, she began her dance career at 7 years old along with her brother, Domingo Ortega. She was awarded the Cádiz Flamenco Dance Competition Second Place Award. She is a part of several companies including Ballet Albarizuela, Miguel A. Espino, and Carmen Cortés. As a solist, she has worked with Ballet Albarizuela, the companies of Antonio Alonso, Domingo Ortega, Joaquin Ruiz, .... She has danced as the attraction and guest artist in different tablaos. Some of her performances include dancing at the Sevilla Universal Exposition, Theater Arriaga of Bilbao, Joyce Theater of New York, Theater Alcazar of Madrid, the Music Palace of Barcelona, International Day of Dance at the Theater Albéniz of Madrid, Grand Theater of Córdoba, Summer Festivals of the Villa of Madrid, Flamenco Festival of Jerez. Currently she is directing her own company, “Aroma Flamenco”, with which she has performed numerous shows. She has participated as a guest artist in concerts of José Menese, Jorge Pardo, Enrique de Melchor, and Serranito. She is also a dance instructor at the dancer center, Amor de Dios, and a guest instructor in Japan, the United States, Greece, the United Kingdom and others.

 

Mariano Bernal

 
 

Born in Seville in 1978. He initiates his studies at the age of 6 years old with the Farruco teacher. With 12 years he begins his formation of Spanish and Classic Dance with Carmen Montiel (National Dance Award). In 1998 he enters to the National Spanish Ballet under the direction of Aída Gómez. In 2001, he is officially promoted to the solo category under the direction of Elvira Andrés. At the moment he collaborates with Eva Yerbabuena´s Company.

"Maestros" such as Caracolillo, Manolo Marín, Ciro, Paco Romero and Paco Fernández, set up the foundations of Charo Espino's dancing technique. She performed as prima ballerina with Rafael Aguilar´s Ballet Teatro Español, Luisillo´s Compañía de Teatro de Danza Española, Joaquín Ruiz´s Ballet Danzarte, Miguel Ángel´s Ballet Español, Compañía de Paco Peña ... In 1988 she makes her debut at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla and one year later she already won the 'Navicella' dancing award in Italy , transmitted by the national TV network RAI. Also in Italy, she performs in 1990 as prima ballerina in the opera 'La Traviata' of Luigi Pizzi and José Carreras.

 

Ángel Muñoz

After studying with the teacher Inmaculada Luque in his native Córdoba, and being a pupil at the Dance Conservatory, he started participating with the Ziyab Dance Company, directed by Javier Latorre. Ángel Muñoz became the soloist in the choreographic play based on “La fuerza del destino”, acting in many stages in Europe. He performed in operas like La traviata and La del soto del parral, and even in TV shows,  before winning in 1994 the La Mejorana award in the Flamenco Art National Show of  Córdoba. The same year he went all around the United States in a six months` tour with the María Benítez Dance Company.

She has been part of different companies, Mariquilla´s Ballet, Rafael Aguilar´s, Juan Andrés Maya´s, Manuel Marín´s and Manolete´s. As a solo dancer she has danced with Juan Andrés Maya in his show called “Cautivo” touring all throughout Europe. She has also danced as a solo dancer with the show “Dialogo del Amargo” directed by Mario Maya. She has performed for the King and Queen of Spain at the Culture Awards Ceremony. She has worked in television. As well as being a bailaora she is also a dance teacher and an actress working in different plays such as “Romula” and “Madres en las nubes”.

 

Pol Vaquero

Pol Vaquero was born in Córdoba, in 1980. He began his dance studies in the Conservatoire of Córdoba at the age of ten and began his professional career at the age of 16 with Antonio Canales company in the production “Torero”. Among the notable companies he has worked with, that of Antonio Canales is outstanding in works such as “Torero”, "Gitano", "Minotauro", etc. and with Vicente Amigo as guest artist. Pol has appeared as soloist for the National Ballet of Spain in “Grito”, and in Joaquin Grilo’s company. He has also appeared as soloist in “De Amore”, by Mauricio Sotelo. Pol was guest artist with Antonio Canales and Juan de Juan for the show “Chanson Flamenca” and he participated as a dancer in the videoclip of Alejandro Sanz’s “Corazon Partío”. At the present time he is working with the National Ballet of Spain.

Born in Cádiz in 1985. She started dancing being only five years old at Pilar Ogalla’s school and after just two months performed for first time on stage. In 2000 she starts dancing professionally at the Tablao Cordobés of Barcelona. In 2002 Auxi participates in the Pregón de los Carnavales de Cádiz with Sara Baras and since then becomes part of her Company. In 2005 she performed with Chick Corea at the Musical Theatre of Barcelona for the recording of the Touchstone’s DVD. She kept performing with them in their Spanish tour and after that, in the USA and Japan’s tour. In 2007 she performs at many different tablaos in Madrid and Barcelona.

 

Alfonso Losa

Born in Madrid, he began his studies in 1989 in Córdoba at the Real Conservatorio de Danza. Graduating with outstanding mention in the field of Spanish Dance and Flamenco, he started his professional career at the age of 15. In 1996 and again in 2001 he was awarded the prize for best dancer in the contest Certamen de Coreografía de Danza Española y Flamenco. In 2007 he received the award Premio Nacional de Córdoba for ‘Soleá’. Alfonso Losa has taken his Flamenco Art to places like Europe, Asia, Japan and South America. Today he continues to perform with his own company as well as dance as a guest artist in other companies.

He made his debut in Mayte Galan´s Ballet de Danza de España and has not stopped touring ever since. He has danced in stages of France, United Arab Emirates and Santo Domingo. In 1995, he formed his own company, “Taracea”, and performed in El Corral del principe in Granada and later on in different “tablaos” with his company. He has performed in some of the most important theatres in the world such as The Opera Theatre in Kiev or the famous “Café de Chinitas” in Tokio. As well as a bailaor he is professor, having taught in Marseille and Israel.

Since her debut in 1986 with the ballet Danzas de España, she developed her brilliant career working in the most famous national venues: Auditorium Manuel de Falla, Teatro de la Maestranza (Sevilla), Teatro Tivoli (Barcelona), tablao Albaizin and music and dance festivals (Granada). She has taken her art in international tours from Paris and Santo Domingo to the Arab Emirates, acting in the National Theater Narodowy (Warsaw), International Dance Festival of Confolens (France), World Trade Center of Cairo, Cervantes Institute in Manchester, and as soloist in the Kiev Opera of Ukraine and the Solea Center in Marseilles.

Born in 1980 in Jerez de la Frontera. At the age of 9 she started studying Classical and Spanish Dance and graduated in this two disciplines at the Royal Academy of Dancing as well as the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Sevilla. Antonio “El Pipa” gave her her first debut participating in the show De Cai, El Baile and later on in Vivencias at the Villamarta Theatre. She was invited in August 2007 to the de Berlín Pfefferberg Festival, along with guitar player Tino van der Sman in the show Cartas a Nadie. Javier Barón will count on her in his Company for Meridiana where she will start in the Mont de Marsan Festival and theatres in Sevilla and Madrid.

In 2003 he performed for the King and Queen of Spain. In 2004 he performed during six months in “El Flamenco” tablao in Tokio along with Mari Paz Lucena in the show “Puro Gallardo”. With Mario Cortes’ company he toured throughout Holland as a solo performer. In 2006 he returned to Holland and Germany with the show “Espectáculo de Granada”.

Born in Barcelona, at the age of 5 she traveled to Almería to begin her Dance studies, which she later completed in Madrid. She has been formed under the guide of some of the most important artists of current times. She has traveled around the whole world with her dance, an elegant dance so much of posture, as of arms and hands movements, with an amazing zapateo (shoe-tapping), strong and concise, which made her the winner of two important awards, the Carmen Amaya Award to the most complete bailaora in the Dance Contest of Hospitalet de Llobregat and the Second Prize at the contest La Perla de Cádiz.

 

Pedro Córdoba

He began his studies at Pastora Martos´ dance school with ballet, classical Spanish and Flamenco classes. He developed his own style from professors like María Muñoz, Manolo Núñez, Antonio Canales, Manolete and Eva la Hierbabuena among many others. In 1996 he received the Ricard Moragues Award, whilst performing for the company Color Danza Española. He also created dance on the lyrics of “Duquende”, “Chicuelo”, Miguel Poveda, Enrique Morente and Vicente Amigo. He has participated in festivals as the Bienal de Sevilla, the 48º Music and Dance Festival of Granada and the Festival of Argelès.

Born in Barcelona in 1987, she has taken classes with teachers such as “La Tani”, Manuel Reyes, Domingo Ortega, Antonio “El Pipa”, Eva “La Yerbabuena”, Rafael Amargo, Javier Latorre, Belén Maya and Antonio Canales. She has participated in many Festivals, participating with some of the most important Companies, and at present in María Pagés’ Company. She has won several Awards: in 2002 the Vicente Escudero Award and in 2004 the Juana La Faraona Award in the Contest of Young Values of Hospitalet.

 

José Jurado

He was born in Córdoba in 1982. At the age of ten he entered the Professional Conservatory of Córdoba “Luis del Río”. He has studied with teachers such as Norio Yoshida, Eduardo Serrano “El Güito”, Rafael Campillo, José Antonio and Andrés Marín, among others. On top of being a bailaor he has collaborated in setting up several shows, like “Bodas de Sangre” of Antonio Gades and “Leyenda” under the direction of José Antonio. He has shared the stage with some of the most important bailaores and bailaoras of the time. Between 2004 and 2005 he has participated in the filming of Iberia of Carlos Saura.

She was born in Galicia, and raised up in Argentina, where she started studying Spanish Dance. In Spain she specialised in Flamenco Dancing studying with Merche Esmeralda, La China, Manuel Liñan and Paco Pozo, among others. She has been part of Rafael Aguilar’s Company, performing “Carmen” and “Yerma” all along the world. As part of the bailaora Carmen Cortés’ Company, she performed along with Carmen “Mujeres de Lorca” at the Bienal de Sevilla, at the Flamenco Festival London and at the Festival Flamenco Pa’Tos in Beijing. After performing in many other Tablaos, she is at present developing her own career path at Corral de la Morería.

Asunción Demartos was born in Sevilla in 1975. After concluding her studies of Spanish Dance and Classic Ballet, she began to work in different tablaos and companies as Yoko Komatsubara’s and Blanca del Rey’s ones. She collaborated as well in the show “La Garra y el Ángel”. In March of 2001 she opened the show “Ella” with her own company. At present she combines the teaching with her interventions on stage. It is said about her that she is a subtle bailaora who has an excellent command of all the feminine concepts of the dance and that the plasticity of her movements differentiates and distinguishes her within the Flamenco world.

At the early age of 12, he was put in the hands of Luci Montes, who discovered in him artistic abilities that would make him a great “bailaor”. He made his professional debut under his teacher’s wing. Later on Juan Andrés Maya also became artistic and professionally interested in this young man’s career, giving him the opportunity to share stage with teachers of great prestige as La Repompa, El Primitivo and La Talegona, among others. Since then his professional career shoot up and at the age of 20, he starts his flight as solo dancer becoming a highly requested bailaor.

She began her studies at the Conservatory of her home town Córdoba, concluding with califications of excellent in Dance and very good in Classic Dance. She has participated in Antonio Márquez and José Joaquín's companies, sharing stage with José Mercé, El Lebrijano, Meneses, José de la Tomasa, Guadiana and others.  She has been honored with the Matilde Coral Award and nominated official Bailaora in the Concurso Nacional de Flamenco de Córdoba. Lola always bets for a show a hundred percent flamenco with a pure feeling of great artistic and plastic richness in the expressions of the face, body, hands and feet, on top of using the elements of the shawl, the robe and the castanets.

She was born in Córdoba and at the age of 11 she started her studies at the Conservatory of Spanish Dance and Drama. From the age of 14 she started traveling through all Andalucía sharing stage with dancers as renowned as José Mercé, La Macanita, Chano Lobato, El Pele or Enrique Morente. She stood out as soloist in performances as “Pura Pasión” of Cristóbal Reyes, produced by Joaquín Cortés. La Talegona has the warmth and the presence of bailaoras of lineage which made her succeed in the Festival Flamenco de Alburquerque and in the II Cumbre Flamenca of Madrid, sharing stage with very well known artists such as Miguel Poveda, Archangel, Diego El Cigala and Diego Carrasco.

He began his studies at Pastora Martos´ dance school with ballet, classical Spanish and Flamenco classes. He developed his own style from professors like María Muñoz, Manolo Núñez, Antonio Canales, Manolete and Eva la Hierbabuena among many others. In 1996 he received the Ricard Moragues Award, whilst performing for the company Color Danza Española. He also created dance on the lyrics of “Duquende”, “Chicuelo”, Miguel Poveda, Enrique Morente and Vicente Amigo. He has participated in festivals as the Bienal de Sevilla, the 48º Music and Dance Festival of Granada and the Festival of Argelès.

She has also danced as a solo dancer with the show “Dialogo del Amargo” directed by Mario Maya. She has performed for the King and Queen of Spain at the Culture Awards Ceremony. She has worked in television. As well as being a bailaora she is also a dance teacher and an actress working in different plays such as “Romula” and “Madres en las nubes”.

Fran did his first dance steps at the early age of five by the hand of Mariló Regidor, National Award of Flamenco Dancing. He added dancing to his regular studies and improved his skills with artists such as Eva la Hierbabuena, Javier Latorre, Israel Galván and José Galván. It stands out his performances in Switzerland in prestigious art galleries and her participation in the Flamencology Chair in Cordoba. He also represented the Tourism Council of Andalusia in a tour along Europe and Russia. He was highly deserving the Carmen Amaya award in the Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco of Cordoba. His dream... to keep on living flamenco and to die even more flamenco.

Recently appointed with the Carmen Amaya’s National Flamenco Award for Bulerías, her path began in Jerez with Ana Mª López and Belén Fernández who planted in Soraya the seed of the classic ballet which produced excellent outcomes. Her artistic career started in different tablaos whilst she continued her formation by the hand of great figures as Eva la Yerbabuena, Javier Latorre and Joaquín Grilo. Her artistic revelation arrived with the great welcome and review of the Mont of Marsan’s Flamenco Festival. She dances in a self developed style plenty of smartly chosen and combined references mainly based in the Jerezan School, which is her passion.

He made his debut in 1986 with Mayte Galán’s Ballet of Dances of Spain. From then on he carried out tours to France, the Arab Emirates and Santo Domingo. In 1995 he created his own company, "Taracea", which performed at El Corral del Principe in Granada. He has performed in the most famous stages around the world, like the Kiev’s Theater of the Opera. He was runner up of the XVII National Contest of Flamenco art of Córdoba and he was awarded as the best 2008’s Artistic Image. His force, his command of the compass and his way of feeling the Flamenco, make of him an authentic revelation.

She was born in Jerez de la Frontera where she started her dancing career altogether with her brother, Domingo Ortega. Amongst the most remarkable performances of her career should be mentioned the Universal Exhibition of Taejon (Korea), the International Dance Festival of Todi (Italy), the Arriaga Theater of Bilbao and the Joyce Theater in New York. At present she directs her own company Aroma Flamenco and participates as invited artist at the concerts of the famous flamenco singer José Meneses and of great musicians such as Jorge Pardo, Enrique de Melchor and Victor Monge "Serranito". Her dance, defiant, harmonic and loaded with charm, is an entire luxury on stage.

She worked with Sara Baras’ company in the show “Juana La Loca”, alternating her performances with Blanca del Rey’s company. She toured around Japan, Australia, Mexico and New York, besides being the image for TVE of the “Olympic Winter Games” in Granada. He has performed as soloist bailaor with the company Noche Flamenca obtaining excellent reviews in international media such as the New York Times. In 2003 he presented his own show Flamenco Feeling in Calabria (Italy). He has worked as an artist and a professor in Japan and it is to be highlighted his performance in the Viking Festival (Norway).

Born in Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville), he began to dance in clubs, festivals and tablaos. He was part of Cristina Hoyos’ company, with which he travelled to the best stages across the world. Along with the company’s tours, he participated in other shows with Mª Pagés, Adrián Galia, Manuela Carrasco, Angelita Vargas and Juana Amaya. He performed in important festivals such as the “Berlin’s International Festival”, the “Festival Internacional de Danza de Querétaro” in Mexico, in the “Bienal de Arte Flamenco de Sevilla” and in the “Festival Flamenco de Jerez”. He is a bailaor with an unusual power in his feet and with a vitality that makes his difference as a dancer.

She was born in Galicia, and raised up in Argentina, where she started studying Spanish Dance. In Spain she specialised in Flamenco Dancing studying with Merche Esmeralda, La China, Manuel Liñan and Paco Pozo, among others. She has been part of Rafael Aguilar’s Company, performing “Carmen” and “Yerma” all along the world. As part of the bailaora Carmen Cortés’ Company, she performed along with Carmen “Mujeres de Lorca” at the Bienal de Sevilla, at the Flamenco Festival London and at the Festival Flamenco Pa’Tos in Beijing. After performing in many other Tablaos, she is at present developing her own career path at Corral de la Morería.

 

José Jurado

He was born in Córdoba in 1982. At the age of ten he entered the Professional Conservatory of Córdoba “Luis del Río”. He has studied with teachers such as Norio Yoshida, Eduardo Serrano “El Güito”, Rafael Campillo, José Antonio and Andrés Marín, among others. On top of being a bailaor he has collaborated in setting up several shows, like “Bodas de Sangre” of Antonio Gades and “Leyenda” under the direction of José Antonio. He has shared the stage with some of the most important bailaores and bailaoras of the time. Between 2004 and 2005 he has participated in the filming of Iberia of Carlos Saura.

He has developed as well an important didactic labour alongside his career, conceiving Flamenco Dance as a pure and universal art.

In 2002 she moved to Madrid where her professional career started. She has toured with “Don Juan”´s performance to Montreal and Paris. She has participated as dancer in the “Nuevo Ballet Español”, and worked with different companies as Aída Gomez´, María Pagés´ and Antonio Gades´ ones. She is at present working with this last one, performing as first dancer in the role of “Carmen”.

Born in Sanlucar de Barrameda, she started dancing at an early age, mastering all types of Spanish dance. Disciple of dance masters such as El Mimbre, Merche Esmeralda, Javier Latorre, El Güito, La Chiqui de Jerez and Jennifer Hanner. It is worth mentioning her school years at Matilde Coral´s. She has danced in many places at national and international level with María del Mar Moreno´s, Alhama´s and Merche Esmeralda companies and there are to be highlighted the years of her performing at the world´s most important Flamenco tablaos. As one of the promising young flamenco figures, she organizes now activities directing artists and conducting classes and workshops, and especially doing what she likes the most: going up on stage and dancing.

An artist in tablaos and theatres, she is also an actress with Carlos Saura. She has taken her art with great success to cities in Japan and the US. At present she is part of Carlos Saura´s show “Flamenco Today”.

Native from Cádiz, he has a self-taught nature; “he is a bailaor able to get everyone from their seats. He grows dancing solo, uncovering sensations, carrying them out with foaming swell waves of arms and hands, with the twist and joy of Cadiz dancing.” (2006, El Mundo, Julia Martín). Selected for the Corral de la Moreria´s 50th. Anniversary Gala, he has been awarded with numerous acknowledgments such as the “Antonio Gades”, “Mario Maya” and “Carmen Amaya” awards, and the Córdoba National Contest of Flamenco Art “Dancing Award”.

She performed as soloist and guest artist in companies such as Rafaela Carrasco´s, Nuevo Ballet Español and Arrieritos, among others. Arising since her beginning as one of the most innovative proposals in the moment´s stage landscape, she obtained the 1st. Award to Choreography, the 1st. Award to Music at the XII Dance and Flamenco Contest in Madrid ´04, the Villa de Madrid ´05 Award, the Pilar Lopez ´07 Flamenco National Award, and the Max ´09 Award. About her it is said that she beavers away, sowing work and reaping applauses, which turn into more plays, more galas, and again, more applauses. Olga Pericet is riding the vertiginous spiral of professional growth.

At the beginning of 2009 he premiered the Dutch production “Medea” as first dancer and choreographer, having after that a European Tour. It is said about him to be a resources´ prodigy and an excellent performer who knows how to wrap the built of his dance with the precise intention.

He was born in the gypsy neighbourhood of Sacromonte, on the 6th of January, 1972, radiating strength, art, courage, joy, dance and deepness with unique style. He started dancing at the age of 3 at the Cueva del Rocío, becoming the main attraction. At the age of 14 he travelled to Cairo with Jarapo’s company. At 17, he set up the choreography of his first play: “Passion”. He has worked with main stars such as Manolete, Canales, La Chunga and Paco Peña, among others. He has been asked to perform by Their Majesties the Monarchs of Spain in many occasions. He is at present the director of the “Granada’s Music and Dance Festival”, and is also part of the “Mario Maya’s Foundation” as guest artist in the play “Diálogos del Amargo”. He has spread his art worldwide leaving a flavour of Spanish and Flamenco.
