JOSE BARRIOS is born in Córdoba in 1975, starts
to dance in different schools and here the whole Andalusia
starts working for the different Flamenco festivals
of sharing stage with artists of the class of Fosforito,
José Merce, etc....
Later he continues his studies in Seville and Madrid
with teachers as Manolo Marin, Domingo Ortega, China,
etc.
He works in the United States as choreographer and
ballet dancer during some tours with Boston Flamenco
Ballet. Later he is hired by the company Spain Kikaku
in Japan to give classes in his different schools of
dance and he dances together with Belén Maya
in the festival JAL Kioto.
He is a part of the Companies of Dance of Blanca Del
Rey, Suite Española, Rafael Amargo, Domingo Ortega,
José Porcel for whom also he choreography, etc.
At present he is a Coordinating Dancer and assistant
of choreography in the Company of Maria Pagés,
he is an invited artist in the tours of the guitarist
of Cordoba Macareno and choreographer in the Park Spain
of Japan. |
