At the age of ten, Miguel Téllez began his
study of classical flamenco. In 1984 he became a member
of the Youth Albarizuela Ballet in Jerez de la Frontera.
In 1995 he relocated to Madrid and formed part of
the Lírica de José Tamayo Company. In
1997 he participated in the companies of Clara Ramona
and Joaquín Grilo. He also joined the El Güito
company. In 1999 he acted with the Carmen Cortes company
in the production of “Salomé.”
In the year 2000 he participated in the XI Bienal
de Flamenco de Sevilla, in the “El Güito”
and Manolete Companies. He has performed in various
productions in Spain ((Teatro Villamarta de Jerez, Teatro
Reina Victoria de Granada, Teatro Albéniz, Teatro
Romano de Mérida), as web as in Italy, the United
States, and Japan.
In the year 2003 he performed for the King and Queen
of Spain. During 2004, along with Mari Paz Lucena, he
performed for six months in the “El Flamenco”
tablao in Tokio in his show, “Puro Gallardo.”
With the company of Mario Cortes he toured throughout
Holland as a solo performer. In the fall of 2006 he
formed part of the Javier Marín Company. In 2006
he returned to Holland and Germany with the show “Espectáculo
de Granada.”
