Born in the L´Hospitalet, she studied flamenco,
Spanish dance and Classical Dance with teachers including
Ana Márquez, Rafael Amargo, La Tani, and El Toleo.
She has performed with great artists including Antonio
“El Pipa”, Adrián Galiá, and
Cristina Hoyos. She performed with Hoyos in the Opening
Ceremonies at the Barcelona Olympic Games.
More recently, she has performed in the Bienal of Seville,
in the show “Bailaor” (“Flamenco Dancer”)
with Antonio Canales and Juan de Juan and, additionally,
she has participated in “Torero”, “To
Rope and Heel”, “Gypsy”, and “Guernica”,
sometimes as a soloist and others in the principal roles.
In 2002, she entered the company New Spanish Ballet
with the show “Fury”, and in the same year,
she also danced as a part of the company of Tito Losada,
with which she toured the most important theaters in
Spain.
In 1999, she created her own group, Suroma, with two
other young flamenco dancers. She has received numerous
awards among which stand out the Pilar Lopez Award in
the second Barcelona Flamenco Dance Competition for
Young People and the Carmen Amaya Award for the most
well-rounded or complete flamenco dancer.
