Blanca del Rey was born in Córdoba (Andalucia, Spain).
Being six years old and a clear vocation in flamenco
dancing, starts winning various prizes and starts with
great success at the Gran Teatro de Cordoba. Her dance
is based on flamenco guitar and singing, with a huge
capability to transform music into movement.
Soon she enters into Madrid stages, achieving great
success at Corral de la Moreria, the leading Spanish
tablao where all top flamenco artists forged their careers.
Her marriage with Manuel del Rey and the incipient maternity
forced her to a temporary retirement.
As soon as her children grew up, she begins eventual
performances at Corral de la Moreria, as well as a tour
in main Japanese theaters. Her participation at the
Spanish TV programme "La Danza" is the starting
point of her return to stage.
Together with Ciro, a well-known Spanish choreographer,
appears her most outstanding performances, "las alegrías",
"la caña" and her personal "guajira". But,
what really emerges as a never-seen-before masterpiece
is the unique "Soleá del Mantón".
During two years, she takes part in a national radio
programme (Radio Exterior de España) as the main flamenco
researcher, as well as participates in various documentaries
about her life and work, recording her choreografies
in TV programmes worldwide.
She founded Ballet Flamenco Blanca del Rey, a company
devoted to developing performances based on a continuous
choreograpphy creation and evolution about diverse theatrically-oriented
flamenco rhythms.
At this moment, she obtains numerous grants and excellent
reviews, hence, becoming one of our best Spanish flamenco
representatives thoughout the world.

Anabel Moreno |

She has been part of different companies, Mariquilla´s Ballet, Rafael Aguilar´s, Juan Andrés Maya´s, Manuel Marín´s and Manolete´s. As a solo dancer she has danced with Juan Andrés Maya in his show called “Cautivo” touring all throughout Europe. She has also danced as a solo dancer with the show “Dialogo del Amargo” directed by Mario Maya. She has performed for the King and Queen of Spain at the Culture Awards Ceremony. She has worked in television. As well as being a bailaora she is also a dance teacher and an actress working in different plays such as “Romula” and “Madres en las nubes”.

Native from Cádiz, he began his career with Pepín Muñoz, Pilar Ogalla and Charo Cruz. He has danced in many Festivals, sharing stage with artists of the stature of Aurora Vargas, Juana la del Revuelo and José Mercé. Among his latest works, it is the debut of “Ni aquí ni allí”, within the series La otra Mirada del Flamenco Madrid ’09, conducted by Pepa Molina. He conducted the show “Ataduras” in London and the Flamenco Festival in Málaga in April ’09. At the beginning of 2009 he premiered the Dutch production “Medea” as first dancer and choreographer, having after that a European Tour. It is said about him to be a resources´ prodigy and an excellent performer who knows how to wrap the built of his dance with the precise intention. |

Olga Pericet |

Graduated in Spanish Dance and Flamenco, she appears as one of the youngest and more renovative figures. She performed as soloist and guest artist in companies such as Rafaela Carrasco´s, Nuevo Ballet Español and Arrieritos, among others. Arising since her beginning as one of the most innovative proposals in the moment´s stage landscape, she obtained the 1st. Award to Choreography, the 1st. Award to Music at the XII Dance and Flamenco Contest in Madrid ´04, the Villa de Madrid ´05 Award, the Pilar Lopez ´07 Flamenco National Award, and the Max ´09 Award. About her it is said that she beavers away, sowing work and reaping applauses, which turn into more plays, more galas, and again, more applauses. Olga Pericet is riding the vertiginous spiral of professional growth.

Native from Cádiz, he has a self-taught nature; “he is a bailaor able to get everyone from their seats. He grows dancing solo, uncovering sensations, carrying them out with foaming swell waves of arms and hands, with the twist and joy of Cadiz dancing.” (2006, El Mundo, Julia Martín). Selected for the Corral de la Moreria´s 50th. Anniversary Gala, he has been awarded with numerous acknowledgments such as the “Antonio Gades”, “Mario Maya” and “Carmen Amaya” awards, and the Córdoba National Contest of Flamenco Art “Dancing Award”.
